2025 IBJJF Pan-American bronze medalist!

Lost on an advantage in the semi-finals when I was up 4-2.. they gave my opponent 2 points because of some questionable penalties and it ended up deciding the match.

At the end of the day I should’ve done more. That’s on me.

High note, I subbed the number 3 seed In my first match so that felt good.

Thank you to everyone at PMMA for getting me ready and supporting me. We’re putting together major camps now. And the results are showing.

Special thanks to My wife, for putting up with a hangry husband in camp for the last 5 weeks

What’s next?

The IBJJF World championships are next, Dec 11.

We’ll rest for a couple weeks and then jump back in to training 👊🏽

P.S. shout out to my main guy @_prasanna.adhikari_ for stepping up and competing on the big stage. It’s an enormous kip up and even though you didn’t get the results you wanted. You leveled up majorly this camp and it will show in the coming months. I know you’ll keep pushing.

2024 is a wrap!

This year at Powell MMA & Fitness has been nothing short of incredible. We’ve celebrated countless victories in jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and MMA matches across the tri-state. We’re especially proud to bring home our first-ever team title at the Grappling Industries Cincinnati Championships. Which is huge for a team that has been around just over 4 years!
Our gym has exploded with growth, not just in numbers, but also in skill, knowledge, and camaraderie.
We’ve made many improvements like expanding our schedule! Now you can train with us at convenient morning and midday times (6:15 AM & 11 AM). We’ve also added a kids’ class every Saturday at noon (ages 5-12) and a women-only class on the first Saturday of each month.
A Sincere thank you to everyone who creates the positive energy that fuels our gym! Your dedication and support are everything.
As we look ahead to the new year, our commitment remains the same: to equip, empower, and encourage our community. We want to create a space where you can improve yourself, not just as a martial artist, but also as a human.
